Three Part Harmony

I absolutely love the feeling I get when I write a new song! It totally jazzes me. I have been on a roll lately and I owe this recent surge of creativity to three part harmony.

I just got the Harmony G by TC Helicon and I am having a lot of fun with this thing. I can’t even tell you everything it does yet but basically it is a pedal that produces voice and guitar effects including vocal harmonies. I used to live near my sisters who were really good at singing back up harmony and I really miss that so getting my hands on this little item allows me to play with three part harmony and that juices me.

I will be using it in live performances as soon as I feel like I have a handle on how everything works. It is simply a matter of me sitting down and reading the instructions. Sometimes I just like to play with something for a while before I read up on it, kind of crazy I know. I will keep you in the loop. If you are a singer songwriter you should check it out – it’s fun.
